What We Believe

Vision Statement

We exist to spread a passion for God and lead His people to love Him. We seek to lift up Jesus in all His perfections so that we and others may be drawn to Him, yielding our lives to be spent for His glory.

Our vision is to be a God-centered community of believers who celebrate God in worship, grow in grace through His Word and prayer, reach out to our world with the good news, and send out mature believers into the harvest.

Core Beliefs

We believe that God Himself is the greatest treasure that anyone can have. God invites us to have a personal love relationship with Him and He gives Himself to us in His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. God reveals Himself to us through His Holy Spirit who dwells within us to empower godly living and witness. Therefore, we desire God and are committed to praising God in worship, seeking Him in prayer and the Word, and exalting Him through faith and obedience.

We believe that the Bible is the living Word of God. God speaks through His Word by the Holy Spirit revealing Himself, confronting sin, imparting life, and leading His people in truth and light. God’s Word is man’s only authority for faith, obedience, and witness. Therefore, we are committed to knowing, teaching, and proclaiming God’s Word.

We believe that sin separates man from God because God is holy.  Though we have all sinned, God has made a way for us to be brought back to Him. Through His death on the cross, Jesus has satisfied the debt for sin for all who believe in Him. Thus, Jesus rescues us from sin and death. We experience this salvation when His grace draws us to turn from our sin and place all our trust in Christ alone. Therefore, we are committed to following Jesus as Lord, forsaking sin and walking close to God by faith.

We believe that God has chosen for Himself a people from every nation and people group. As the church proclaims the gospel in the world, this people will be drawn by God to know and love Him. Therefore, we are committed to joining God in calling out His people and reaching the world through prayer, giving of our resources, going out with the gospel, and sending out laborers.
